Is a good rep someone who makes multiple visits to your showroom throughout the year?
Is it someone who brings coffee and donuts with a stack of literature under their arms?
Is it someone who will train you on the products/sales?
Or is it a rep that is just available to fix any issues you may have?
Maybe it is a rep who adds value to your bottom line by presenting you with business opportunities in your market to help grow your business.
Does the rep have any real value to your business? If so, what is it?
I am curious to hear from dealers and designers as to what their expectations are when a rep calls on them.
What makes a good manufacturers rep?
